About Reaching Nations

Reaching Nations began through our early outreach to Malawi in the late 1980s, where we witnessed firsthand the severe impact that poverty and food insecurity can have on both villages and a nation. What began as a response to immediate needs quickly grew into a long-term commitment to serve and bless the people of Malawi in the name of Jesus.

In those early years, we helped organize shipments of food, medical supplies, and essential resources to assist families facing extreme hardship. Over time, this work expanded to include agricultural training, well installation, leadership development, and the establishment of a child care center that continues to serve vulnerable children today.

For more than three decades, our work has focused on strengthening both the physical and spiritual foundations of the people we serve. Alongside our aid and relief efforts, we have continued to invest in leadership development and share the message of hope in Jesus that has always been central to our mission.

Today, Reaching Nations is building on this foundation through Agricultural Innovation Malawi (AIM), an initiative developed from decades of experience working with people facing food insecurity. AIM represents the next step in our commitment to helping families and villages — and ultimately the nation — move from crisis response toward long-term agricultural development and food stability.

While our work continues to address practical needs such as food security, clean water, and agricultural development, our mission remains firmly rooted in serving people with compassion and integrity. While we serve people of all faiths and backgrounds, we remain grounded in the faith that has guided this work from the beginning and in our desire to honor and lift up the name of Jesus through the work we do.
